Why are the numbers on a dart board arranged the way they are?

I have been wondering for a while why the numbers are arranged the way they are...there is no pattern that i can tell....does anybody know the history behind this?Why are the numbers on a dart board arranged the way they are?
The numbers are arranged to reduce the element of luck and encourage accuracy. Small numbers are on both sides of the larger numbers, etc.Why are the numbers on a dart board arranged the way they are?

Write down two numbers that have a difference of 42?

Surely this is gonna be really easy and ill kick myself when i know the answer but im unsure what the word difference means?Write down two numbers that have a difference of 42?
21 %26amp; 63.

There are two explanations.

A: 42 is the difference of 21 %26amp; 63. 63 - 42 = 21.

B: 42 also the average of 21 %26amp; 63. 21 + 63 = 84, then divide by 2 %26amp; it equals 42, a second time.

Is there a way I can save my cell phone numbers?

So that when I loss my cell phone, And believe me I will I can just download them to my phone. I hope somebody can help me.Is there a way I can save my cell phone numbers?
Yes. Search for a computer interface cable %26amp; software for your particular model of phone. Most companies make an interface kit which allows a PC to store and manipulate phone number data as text. But they aren't cheap. The lowest price I've every paid for one is about $75, and it might not work with the next model of phone you buy! My best advice is to create a manual database of all the numbers in your phone. If you do just one or two a day, it doesn't take very long, and it costs you nothing.Is there a way I can save my cell phone numbers?
I agree with the answer posted by ';mvsopen';. I found some software and a cable at Radio Shack that worked with by Kyocera phone. I'm not sure the investment was worth it but I wanted to be able to extract all the info without having to write it all down. The cost ';mvsopen'; mentioned is about right: I know I spent at least $60 US. Gsthering the info manually is a very good idea, depending on what other functionality the software might provide and whether you decide it's worth the expense.

What does the numbers mean when you write in Arabic with latin letters?

like what is the 3 and the 7 and the 5...??What does the numbers mean when you write in Arabic with latin letters?
When you write Arabic with the Latin alphabet some letters in Arabic don't have a close phonetic approximate in the Latin alphabet. That's why they are often expressed using numerals or other characters. These have been selected so that the numeral graphically approximate the Arabic letter that one wants to express (e.g. ';ع'; (ʿayn) is represented using the numeral 3 because the latter looks like a horizontal reflection of the former).

3 = ﻉ (ʿayn)

7 = ﺡ (ḥāʾ)

5 = ﺥ (ḫāʾ)What does the numbers mean when you write in Arabic with latin letters?
There are alphabets in Arabic that do not exist in English. For example, ع does not exist in English, so we use the number 3 instead. Also, the alphabet ح, which is a thick H, doesn't exist in English so we use 7 instead. For love which is *H*ub, we write 7ub. ';Kh'; doesn't exist in English, so we use 5 for خ.

See the table in this link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_Chat…
3= A'a

7= Ha

5= Kha

6= Ta

9= Sa

'3= Gha/ غ

Latin letters?

ınşallah

maşallah

çabir

You mean something like that?
3 = aa=ع

7= h=ح

5= kh=خ

because in arabic some phonetics don't exist in latin .. we use 3,7,5...
Also:

2 = ء

6 = ط

9 = ص

  • How do you add, subtract, multiple, and divide with negative numbers?

    MULTIPLICATION

    negative times negative = positive

    negative times positive = negative

    positive times negative = negative

    DIVISION

    negative divided by negative = positive

    negative divided by positive = negative

    positive divided by negative = negative

    ADDITION/SUBTRACTION

    negative plus negative = negative

    negative plus positive and positive plus negative depends on the larger number e.g.

    -4 + 6 or 6 - 4 = 2

    -6 + 4 or 4 - 6 = -2How do you add, subtract, multiple, and divide with negative numbers?
    Adding:

    --%26gt; If it's a negative and negative, it's just like adding positive numbers, except with a negative sign. If it's a negative and a positive, you subtract the negative from the positive. Your answer can be positive or negative.

    Multiplying:

    --%26gt; Multiply like you are multiplying positive numbers. If the numbers are both negative, it becomes positive. If one is positive and one negative, it becomes negative.

    Division:

    --%26gt; Divide like you are dividing positive numbers. If the numbers are both negative, it becomes positive. If one is positive and one negative, it becomes negative.How do you add, subtract, multiple, and divide with negative numbers?
    negative x negative= positive. if you are multiplying, any two of the same sign (negative negative, positive positive) will always be positive. two different signs (negative postive) will be negative . same with dividing. if you add, you always take the bigger numbers sign for example -3+6 the answer would be positive. you would subtract and the answer would be 3 because, you could switch it and the switched equation would be 6-3 which equals three. if you subtract, you change the subtraction sign to an addition sign and change the number after the sign to the opposite, so -9-7 would be -9+-7.

    good luck with that!
    - ADDITION -

    say your problem is -4 + 10...

    the easiest way for me is to subtract 4 from 10 [switch it to 10 + (-4) ]

    the answer would be 6

    another example: -5 + -8

    if you have a number plus a negative number, you subtract the second number from the first (-5 - 8)

    and since the first number is negative you keep counting down(or add the two numbers together and slap a negative sign on it)

    so your answer would be -13

    - SUBTRACTION -

    say your problem is -6 - 8 you would do the same as the second example above

    another example: -7 - (-5)

    the negatives cancel each other out to make a plus sign...

    (why i dont know, thats the thing about math you just have to accept the rules and not ask the ';why'; questions';)

    so you would then have -7 + 5

    and since your first number is negative, and your second is positive, you will count up from 7

    so your answer will be -2

    - MULTIPLICATION -

    say your problem is -5 x -6

    the two negatives will cancel and make your answer positive

    so just multiply 5 x 6

    and your answer is 30

    another example: -8 x 10

    with one negative, your answer will be negative

    so multiply 8 x 10

    add a negative sign

    and your answer is -80

    - DIVISION -

    same rules apply from multiplication

    - x - = + (negative times negative equals positive)

    - x + = - (negative times positive equals negative)

    + x + = + (positive times positive equals positive)

    i really hope this helps, sorry if its confusing, i used to be bad at math and i found out it wasn't because i was dumb, it was because the way people explained it to me didn't make sense. i found a teacher that made perfect sense and never got a bad score again, he was the one who taught me not to ask ';why'; so find yourself someone that works well with you if you have trouble :)
    I only know how to add and subtract integers. Okay

    1. to addif its different signs, add, but keep signs of the second number.

    2, To subtract, change the operation to adding and make the sum the opposite sign of the second number.

    for example: -5 - -2 becomes +5 + +2 and the answer is +7

    Sorry if this info is wrong or inaccurate I am not really that good at math but I should have gotten it right
    if you have two numbers,

    -a and -b, and a and b represent positive values:

    -a + -b = -(a+b) = -a-b

    -a - (-b) = -a+b

    -a * -b = (-1)a * (-1)b = (1)ab = ab

    -a / -b = a/b [-1/-1 = 1]
    neg * neg = pos

    neg * pos = neg

    neg/neg = pos

    neg/pos = neg

    adding and subtracing is just that... adding and subtracting
    calculator?
    wow.

    What are good numbers for a cornerback on pro day/combine?

    What are decent numbers for one to post on a pro day in the broad jump, vertical, 40m, etc. etc. etc. ???

    I am looking at these numbers and don't have much perspective! Thank you!What are good numbers for a cornerback on pro day/combine?
    broad jump-anything over 10' is considered impressive (a CB from OSU at the combine recently did 11'3

    Vertical-Anything around 40'; give or take 2 inches

    40 yd dash-Mid to low 4.4's

    Cone Drill-less than 4.1 seconds is good

    Bench-Anything in the upper teens for reps

    there are some other drill but I don't really know what is great for those ones.
