Can you switch phone numbers on sim cards if they are on the same network?

my dad just got a new job which means a new work phone. i am really keen to get his blakberry storm, which was his phone before the work phone. But my phone contract doesnt include internet which i would really like to have if i do get the blackberry. Is there any way that my dad's mobile number can be put onto my simcard to use in my phone, and mine onto his, because switching phone numbers is just too much hassel for both of us!Can you switch phone numbers on sim cards if they are on the same network?
You are not exchanging mobile numbers,

You are exchanging contracts...

So yes, a good operator will do that,

and as one of you is a good spender (has a business contract) watch them bend over backwards to keep you all happy !

When the contracts/phone no's are swapped,

go to the Blackberry website

- your father will need to release the blackberry from his phone No

- you will need to add your phone No to the Blackberry PIN (H/w no, under the battery) OR

create a new account and do the same.

Go talk to the operator, and ask to swap over the contracts on the Phone No's

A choice of losing your business or doing this...

guess which they will do !Can you switch phone numbers on sim cards if they are on the same network?
