Does anyone know how to number a list of items in an excel spreadsheet? I have a large list of names and I would like to add numbers to the column to the left of these names in descending order without having to punch them in manually. Thank you!Numbering a list in excel?
Highlight the column you want the numbers in. Then use the ';Fill'; command from the ';Edit'; menu. Select ';Series';
