Find 2 three digit numbers which when multiplied by each other equal 555555?

Pls help, this Is one of my math assignment questions and it's like due in 2 days. Pls show how you worked it out. Ty everyoneFind 2 three digit numbers which when multiplied by each other equal 555555?
777 and 715





they way to work it out is as follows


1. Find the prime factors of 555555 (they are 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 37)


2. Multiply some of the factors untill u get a 3 digit number (eg 37x3x7 = 777)


3. Then multiply the remnaining factors (5,11,13) to get your the 2nd number (5x11x13 = 715)





715 x 777 = 555555Find 2 three digit numbers which when multiplied by each other equal 555555?
715 and 777.

i just tried to simplify 555555 and stored the division.


ex:


555555/5 = 111111 (divisor = 5)


111111/11 = 10101 (divisor = 5*11 = 55)


10101/13 = 777 (divisor = 55*13 = 715)


..


btw, it's a trial and error type.

555555 = 3 * 5 * 7 * 11 * 13 * 37





With a little trial and error with rearranging these prime factors, we get 715 * 777 = 555555.
= 5 * 111111


= 5 * 111 * 1001


= 5 *111 * 7 * 13 * 11


= (111 *7) * ( 5 * 13 *11)


= 777 * (65 * 11)


= 777 * 715
