Are the numbers of the arithmetic finite or infinite?

Are the numbers of the arithmetic finite or infinite? I need that for my homework, I dont know if this is a stupid question but i didnt have idea of what the teacher was talking about..Are the numbers of the arithmetic finite or infinite?
Numbers are infinite because you can always add or subtract 1 more. This goes for both positive and negative numbers. I found a website that explains it in more detail. Are the numbers of the arithmetic finite or infinite?
Infinite.

Finite means that they are limited, which they are not. Infinite means they are not limited and have no end, which numbers are.
