Taking all numbers times a number in Excel?

I want to take all of the numbers on my chart times 2, and don't want to enter everything individually.Taking all numbers times a number in Excel?
ex: A1*2 in B2 then copy it down. A more flexible way is to:

- Use a cell to hold the multiplayer you want

- Address the cell in using $C$1 syntax

The $ will freeze the reference when you copy the it to a new cell.

Ex: A1*$C$1 will when copied to B2 look like this: A2*$C$1Taking all numbers times a number in Excel?
Go to http://www.asap-utilities.com and download and install the latest version. It's an add in for Excel that gives you loads of extra functions. Select your range of cells, open ASAP utilities tab, select Number, Apply Formula, and in the box type x2 and click OK. Job Done as quick as that, it's brilliant.
